200-HOUR YOGA TEACHER TRAINING

WITH JAIMIS HUFF + GUEST TEACHERS

Join Jaimis Huff and guest teachers on a journey into the practice of yoga. This yoga teacher training is open to all levels; the only requirement is an open heart and desire to learn and expand. We welcome avid yoga practitioners who are ready to begin teaching as well as students who are looking to enhance their knowledge and intelligently grow their personal practice with no intention of teaching.

This training dives into the history and evolution of yoga and strives to apply these ancient teachings to your practice and daily life. While the primary role of a yoga teacher in a classroom setting is guiding students through physical yoga postures, this training will also focus on self-study, empowerment, facing your fears, exposing false beliefs about yourself and taking your power back through the practice of self-love.

This program concentrates on Power Vinyasa and Soulful Flow class sequencing. However, it is unique because it highlights a variety of styles with the aim of helping you find your own path on what will be a lifelong journey. Jaimis’ teaching is influenced by her studies in Progressive Ashtanga, Prana Vinyasa Flow, Ayurveda and power vinyasa. During this immersion, you will experience a variety of specialized workshops and lectures taught by some of Charlotte’s most inspirational teachers.

Each day is structured to give you time and space to live your yoga through meditation, breathwork, practice, group discussion, lecture, workshops, practice teaching and more.

Not everyone who joins this program wants to become a yoga teacher but everyone will leave with the tools to dive deeper into their own evolving practice and the ability to guide others through the flow. We welcome students of all levels who want to immerse themselves in the world of yoga!

Jaimis is focusing on the Heart Fire Yoga Collective 300 Hour Advanced Teacher Training this year and will not be offering a summer 200 Hour Training in 2020. If you are looking for a program in Charlotte that explores the expansive and rich practices of Yoga through the lens of modern neuroscience, Ayurveda, ancient philosophy, and social justice, Jaimis recommends the Elemental Moon 200 Hour Training with Grace Millsap and her lineup of phenomenal guest teachers.
